ABOUT LEV

Levitz Equestrian Ventures was built from a lifetime inside the equestrian industry and a belief that the people behind the sport deserve equally strong support behind their businesses.

LEV was created to bring those worlds together.

I wanted to build the kind of company I wished existed throughout my years in the industry—one that understands horses, understands business, and can step behind an equestrian professional or brand and help turn their vision into something stronger. Whether that means finding the next client, developing a sales strategy, strengthening a brand, recruiting the right person, or simply taking something off an already-full plate, my goal is to help exceptional people in this industry build businesses that reflect the quality of the work they do.

— Caitlyn Levitz
Founder, Levitz Equestrian Ventures

For me, Levitz Equestrian Ventures is deeply personal.

Horses have shaped nearly every chapter of my life. I’ve spent more than 17 years in the hunter/jumper industry as a rider and competitor, with experience extending far beyond the saddle into grooming, barn operations, sales horses, client relationships, social media, and the countless details that keep an equestrian operation moving. Growing up in the sport gave me an understanding of this industry that simply can’t be learned from the outside.

Entrepreneurship is also part of my family history. The Levitz name comes with a legacy in American business through Levitz Furniture, the company founded by my family and built into one of the country’s most recognized furniture retailers. I grew up with an appreciation for what it means to build something, earn a customer’s trust, recognize opportunity, and create a business capable of lasting beyond the person who started it.

As I built my own professional career, I found my strength in sales and business development—prospecting, building relationships, generating opportunities, understanding what clients need, and finding creative ways to grow a business. But I kept seeing the same opportunity within the equestrian world I knew so well: incredibly talented professionals were running demanding businesses while simultaneously training horses, competing, managing clients, traveling to shows, hiring staff, marketing themselves, and trying to grow.

BUILT FOR THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE SPORT.

The strongest equestrian businesses are built on more than what happens in the ring. LEV exists to support the work behind it—so ambitious professionals, businesses, and brands can focus on what they do best while having the right strategy and support behind them.
